What should I give up for lent that will guarantee weight loss?
I’m definately only going to drink water. But what foods should I give up? Also, Softball starts in about 2-3 weeks so I will have 2 to 3 hours of exercise every day!! I want to lose 25 or 30 pounds for summer! I made a bet with my mom that I can get my belly button pierced if I Lose Weight and I really want to show her that I can do it! 3 low fat dairy products where possible
2 lean pieces of meat, eggs, fish and beans
no high fat, high sugar or high salt foods ie. fast food, cake and crisps
2 litres of water daily
example healthy menu
for breakfast have some fruit like watermelon with cereal and milk, brown toast with topping like beans, egg, peanut butter and banana or a scone
lunch can be a wholemeal sandwich, bagel, roll, wrap with lettuce, tomato, cucumber and either tuna, chopped avocado, hummous, ham or cheese
dinner should be 1/4 protein(beans, egg, meat) 1/3 carb (potato, brown rice/pasta) and the rest vegetables. eg. pepper and meatballs in tomato sauce on spagetti
supper can be carton veg soup or a yogurt and a piece of fruit
